There's a website called PC decrapifier. Google it. It will help get rid of all the crap that comes on a new PC. My BIL swears by it. Personally, I own a Mac, so I've never had to use it, but it's worth a shot.
I got an extended warranty and the one year accident protection because I am a klutz.
